White reflection standard with near-perfect lambertian scattering behaviour

Barium sulfate (BaSO₄) is an inorganic compound with a diffuse reflection close to 100%. It is often used for coating of integrating spheres, but presents its perfect scattering behaviour especially as pure powder compressed under high pressure into pellets like presented in this product.

All samples are supplied with the calibration certificate of the individual batch, which documents the reflective properties for different geometries, for instance 8:D or 45a:0 and whihc is tracable to a national metrology institute.
