The LMT LIMES 2000 and LMT COLORSYS software requires a PC with the operating system WINDOWS NT 4.0, WINDOWS 2000 Professional or WINDOWS XP Professional for optimal performance. The use of WINDOWS 95/98/ME is possible in principle, especially for data evaluation only, or measurement with slow devices such as integrating spheres or colorimeters.

The following configuration is necessary (minimum values in brackets):

• PENTIUM IV 1 GHz (PENTIUM III 800 MHz min)
• 128 MB RAM (64 MB min)
• 32 MB SVGA Graphics Adapter (16 MB min)
• 17-in. color monitor with 1024 x 768 pixels (800 x 600 min)
• CD-ROM (necessary)
• Flexible Disk / ZIP drive or similar (recommended)
• 8 GB hard disk (2 MB min)
• Keyboard (necessary)
• Mouse (necessary)
• WINDOWS 95/98/ME or WINDOWS NT 4.0 SP4 or better, WINDOWS 2000 or WINDOWS XP (recommended)
• PCI Slot for GP-IB Interface card

• WINDOWS compatible printer, e.g. HP Laserjet 2100, HP DeskJet

The software installation (Setup) will be done from CD-ROM. The PC should have the necessary network drivers (e.g. TCP/IP) installed. At the time of the LMT software installation, the user must be able to log in as "Administrator".
